He is thoroughly enjoying every gift he received for his birthday. Here he's sporting the jacket from G.G. and the car from the Stengers. I am impressed daily by his fine motor skills.
What a work out! They love to torture Daddy by climbing on his leg and "letting" him bounce them up and down. They would be happy if he never stopped but one leg can only take so much.
This little trick was learned from Cassie. The birthday baby gets to let go of the past years in balloons. It's very sentimental and special for the birthday boy or girl. This Mama was very near tears when Carter let go of his first two years. We had a great party and this big dude was happy to let some balloons go.
...toddler gift. There were so many great pictures of this but I didn't think they were web appropriate. If you want to see more, call me. This little urinal flushes and everything. My boys love, love, love it! Thanks Unk and Aunt Cheese!
The two blue are for my Carter Baby's second birthday. The three pink are for Kimmy's three decades. We were so excited that she could stick around for cake after watching the boys Friday and Saturday.
Was a complete success. This painting was created on 30 different canvases. Mike (The Jesus Painter) created this amazing piece of art. He worked out a grid and traced lines on each canvas. He printed 30 value scales and 30 squares to replicate. It was truly amazing to see how differently each person interpreted their value scale. Once they came together they made this INCREDIBLE piece of art. This was one of many labs today. Collide was a hit.
You are stinkin' cute! I'm so glad I know you! I met Melanie in CCYM. We only see each other 6~ish times a year but I love hanging out with every youth there! They have the best stories.
From a distance. You can see the stalks tied together in the field over the hill. There is also the awful pink chair left behind waiting to be burned. It smelled terrible and was falling apart. Mother Earth, I apologize.
We received an amazing house warming gift in the mail today. Thank you to the gifters. You can't imagine our appreciation. We were a bit concerned that the box came with multiple tears and holes. Naturally, I took pictures just in case.
So with the move comes new restaurants. There is a Friendly's in Mount Vernon. I WAS SO EXCITED when I saw it. This instantly brought me back to Stow High. We bounced between Pizza Hut and Friendly's after band shows, concerts and football games. When we were little Mom and Dad used to bring us to Friendly's for sundaes. This cone head was a staple in our childhood. My sons did not disappoint. They too LOVE the cone head sundae. They especially love the hidden candy in the bottom and the messy chocolate on the cone.
He was not finger painting. He was digging in to his birthday cake. He started off strong but as soon as his hand hit that cake the room cheered and Kellen freaked out. He spent time crying and his Aunt Allyson and Aunt Heidi stepped right up so he wouldn't miss any of that deliciousness. Happy Birthday Buddy!
